Axiom: It was an unfamiliar word I came across the other day. I thought Axiom was a word that meant a group of words having to deal with similarities. When I had researched the word I came across what it really meant. An axiom is a self-evident truth that doesn't require any proof. I discovered this word when I was assigned a reading by my professor to read about, "Choice Theory," by William Glasser. After I learned what axiom meant I could relate to it with the book. It relates by choosing who you want to be and how you control your own behavior. You make your own decisions for yourself and figure out who it is you want to become. No one else has control over you or tell you who you should become.
